Family :)

While we were home for my grandma's funeral, we were able to see several very special family members. Many friends and family members at the funeral were able to meet Beanie for the first time. Obviously we spent time with our parents and siblings. These visits were definitely bright spots in an otherwise dreary trip home.

Most importantly, we were able to see brand new baby Jack, our newest nephew. He was only 6 days old so it was precious to hold him when I didn't think I would be able to until Christmas. As usual it was wonderful seeing Layla, Charlie, Bryar and my sisters and brothers. We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked with them due to the kiddos getting the stomach flu while we were there.

Jack Calvin!

We also got to see Aunt Fritz while we were in town. We visited with her for a couple hours and of course Dustin had a snack. It was wonderful to see her :)

We stopped by Grandma Lucy's house, too! She held Xavier and played with him. He LOVED her ceiling fan (he loves ALL ceiling fans) and we visited and chatted until Xavier got grumpy. It was nice to see her, especially because it was unplanned.

We also saw my mom's parents several times while we were home. This was the second time that they were meeting Beanie and the first time, Xavier pooped on my grandpa's suit at Kylee's wedding so this went much more smoothly :) It was wonderful to see them together :)

Beanie is 1 of 23 grandchildren and great grandchildren to be rocked by grandpa in this chair :)

Our last night in Indiana was spent with the Ross's. Dustin's grandparents graciously allowed us to sleep over in their guest bedroom in Indianapolis and they took us to the airport early Sunday morning. It was wonderful to spend time with them and Clayton stayed over too so it was very special to us. We had a great time visiting and Beanie took to his great grandparents and Uncle Clay immediately.

We are blessed to have such a wonderful family :)
