Father's Day 2019

This year for Father's Day, the boys and I were in Indiana. When we were making our travel plans, we were going to make sure to be home in time but Dustin reminded me that I haven't spent Father's Day with my dad in years and he encouraged me to do so. He is the best :) It probably helped that he had already received his present (a new TV) but more on that later...LOL

A few weeks before Father's Day, I overheard Dust talking with his Dad about getting a new TV to finish our Living Room remodel. That's what I had planned to buy him for Father's Day so THAT DAY I ran to Walmart and bought him one before he could buy himself one.

I did very little research. And I paid for it haha!

The TV I bought gave us issues from the get go. It was glitchy, the chromecast didn't work, the picture was meh, the remote barely worked and the operating software was awful.

It was a definite fail and while Dust appreciated the sentiment, after about a week, he took the TV down and returned it. 🤣🤣

He went to Best Buy and bought one after researching thoroughly and now we are happier TV watchers :)

Anyway, that was his big gift this year. When we returned from Indiana we OF COURSE celebrated with him. It was just a few days late :)

We started by meeting Grandpa Bryan and Niki at IHOP for breakfast in Thomasville, GA. When we got home, Dust opened his gifts! We got him a couple mugs, a tshirt and X made him some awesome crafts at school.

Next, we just HAD to complete another Father's Day craft. This was the 4th annual and this year we all made self-portraits. They ended up being so fun and look great on the playroom wall!

We are so lucky to have the very best husband/daddy of all. We LOVE you Dustin Ryan :)
